This interview is regarding my book "Lori's Song" which is my true story of being held captive in Iran and tortured raped and starved x6 weeks, as well as being married to a terrorist who had some insight into 911.
All my information is verifiable and my website is www.loris-song.com
please contact me if you'd like the interview first lori@loris-song.com
My true story LORI'S SONG by Lori Foroozandeh was about my terrorist husband *(Iranian) and how I was put into a POW camp the day after 911 in Iran. My husband was involved in acts of terrorism and once I escaped and the govt. paid my way home from Dubai, they assured me they would not let Mohammad reenter the country...well guess what HES BACK and I am in a never ending fight with homeland security, I notify them, they tell me they will get back with me.
Get this my TERRORIST ex husband just received 90 days in jail with credit for two weeks served for a past drug charge in 1998 that he fled the country from
MY SON who made a mistake at the age of 17 when I was in Iran, he acted out and did a robbery, he has been in prison TEN YEARS but they only put the terrorist in for 90 days....IS THIS GETTING THROUGH TO ANYONE OUT THERE?????
I'm sorry for your plight and I don't know if you've read my true story about being in a POW camp in Iran. I was taken from the Shiraz bus station. My husband Mohammad Forouzandeh (I'm sure if you know politics you would know him) I found out after being there that he was the head of some disinherited fund and used to have Iranian war vets executed so the govt. wouldn't have to deal with them .
I know that there are a LOT of good Iranian people and my book is not about prejudice but what can happen to a person if they are naieve to their surroundings and only believe a loved one (or so I thought)
I truly recommend my book called "Lori's Song" by Lori Foroozandeh/Forouzandeh (available through amazon and my website:
www.loris-song.com
I also wrote a story about the Iranian woman, the link is on my website as well.
my husbands name is spelled both ways and he had two passports and two SS numbers.
He was very shady and I should have taken the advice I got from his ex wife who had to go in hiding with a false name so she could get a way from him
The only word I kept hearing in this camp was KHAN, does this mean anything to you. I don't know why I was taken. Any help or clues I can get would be welcomed.
I wish you only the best truly! You sound like the good hearted Iranians we hear so little about.
Lori
All I know is our govt did nothing, they did send in a blackhawk helicopter to see if these camps were real because within the camp we heard them talking about one that had crashed or "they" had shot down, if you do a search online in Mid-October of 2001 a blackhawk went down over there but no information about why is exact.
There is so much I was not allowed to say, and this is because the govt. would look bad if my story got out. That is why I'm sure it still isn't able to get national recognition. I'm not looking for fame just acknowledgement, not only for what I went through but for all the people who weren't able to get out of that camp or others like it!
Please buy my book on Amazon or through my website (profits go to charity e.g. Amnesty International) The name of it is LORI'S SONG by Lori Foroozandeh, or visit my website:

Thank you
Almost like the propaganda we get in the states by flag waving (encouraging pride in patriotism), and the bible from the pulpit as we are urged to fight in the name of god.
I understand I can get on a rant but it needed to be said.
At the same time though I understand that there is a whole other side to Iran who are attempting to become educated and who want to change. In my opinion, I think Democracy would be best for them. However, is Democracy realistic for the people of the Middle East? They are very different than Westerners and not saying it is good or bad, I?m just saying what is. So I would support what works for them and what works for the rest of the world, which is whatever system makes them a successful, prosperous, stable country that values life and liberty for all and world cooperation. I mean look at the Kurds, they seem to be doing really well with the chance we have given them, God Bless them. Also, I?m sure there are thousands of brave people in Iran, and I think the featured reporter is brave too. It takes bravery to stand up and fix things in their situation.
Realistically I am conflicted on what I would do. And this is where we don?t understand that the world is grey areas now, and it?s not like the simple days where the Nazi?s were evil end of story. If I had more information I would know what to do. See, we want to befriend the good people in Iran (the brave people trying to better themselves and become educated) and get rid of the bad people in Iran (The Guard). If we put sanctions on the country, the government will just pass the pain down the line. However it could force the brave people to stand up against the government but that would be sort of wrong for us to do because many of them would be killed. If we go to war with Iran we also alienate the brave people because most likely many of them would be killed in a conventional war which would turn them against us, which is not even the point, the greater point is that we don?t want them to be hurt because they are the good guys that should be running the country.
So it?s a tough situation. However, there is wisdom in making things black and white at times. Learned that in the military. Realistically we can?t be friends with everyone, there are going to be losers, and people are going to get hurt on both sides. It?s just too bad I want to get involved more with things like this hopefully as soon as possible that?s why I?m studying International Relations. Can?t wait to get into the mix and do the right thing for. I mean geez people aren?t doing that anymore these days ***?? What happened to doing the right thing just because its right? Or doing the right things mixed with some realistic ideas, good ol? experience and know how, with some boldness and a little bit of cockiness??
