The Discovery Investigation(ID)channel did a wonderful job in portraying Marjorie's life.. While I agree with the outcome of the investigation and ultimate punishment for Marjorie I do have sympathy for her.. She led most of her young life as a celebrity and as most young people that enjoy early fame she became narcissistic.. Those close to her really missed a chance at talking to her about getting help to curb those feelings.. I do think because of that, she should have never been married in the first place.. In the end having a child did nothing to improve her disposition.. She has wasted her life clearly as a result of some hidden psychiatric problem..

I don't believe a word she is saying. When she describes what happened to her husband, she describes it in terms that are obviously fed to her by a defense lawyer because nobody talks like that. She also describes the scene in the third person, instead of giving an account of where she was, what she was doing, and how she felt.
I would classify her as a better liar than most, which is to be expected since she basically lived the life of a high price call girl. Strippers can't exactly treat their regulars like the psycho mama's boys we all know they are, rather their egos (and other parts) must be stroked to get their paychecks.
The problem with this stripper's lies is that she sugar coats everything: "I danced" - She stripped; "I was a choreographer" - she was a good stripper so she trained other strippers for a high price strip club owned by her former fiance. The way I would coach her to be more believable, would be have her tell all the bad stuff: "I stripped, I lied, before 4 years in prison, I was a very shallow person, so I spent my dead husbands money because that is all I knew how to do BUT I AM NOT A KILLER." This kitchen sink approach, of trying to point out every good thing one has ever done when accused of a wrongdoing simply is not believable.

I can't understand why Marjorie's boyfriend was never a suspect. This woman involved herself for the safety of her child.Let's face it, anyone willing to take on a swat team is a little "loose" and capable of irrational actions.I think Marjorie is innocent of the murder and dismemberment but had full knowledge and choose to keep it to herself for her son's safety. The fact that the Det. on the case was refused further testing of DNA evidence and then was suspended for doing his job doesn't say much for the Phoenix PD.Was it budget cuts or just too lazy figuring they had their killer. Very good show but disturbing. The fact that she wouldn't join her old boyfriend in Florida speaks volumns on her wishing her son be raised with both parents.Doesn't sound like a woman out to kill.Too many loose ends.

So, the self-absorbed worst actress I've EVER seen says she did not cause his death or have anything to do with what was done to his body afterward. Then why did she buy the bins? And why is she so willing to "expose the killer" now, after she's been sentenced to life in prison? Hmm, she professes to love her son so much, then be with him and protect him!! Tell the "truth" before trial. I think we all know she is grasping at straws now. Marjorie, rot in Hell

As a retired criminal investigator, there were significant points missing from the defense or perhaps not just coverred by your story. Did Larry have an alibli for the night of the killing since he said that he was not there. Obviously Jay was killed the night he got home, so something bad happened when he got home. If larry was not there, what would have cause Majorie to kill him at that time if Jay had no reason to for a confrontation then unless Larry was there. Larry apparently moved in right after Jay's murder, which is a clear indication of a consiciousness of a guilty participation, as well was his profane negative advice about Majorie's lie dectector test and his confrontation with the search warrant officers. Clearly the evidence showed that Majorie was involved but in my opinion there were many issues not coverred in the story that were a clear indication that larry was also involved.
