To update everyone regarding my true story of being held captive in Iran (the story all the news people are trying to avoid since it was Homeland securities mistake that they allowed him back into the country.
My true story LORI'S SONG by Lori Foroozandeh was about my terrorist husband *(Iranian) and how I was put into a POW camp the day after 911 in Iran. My husband was involved in acts of terrorism and once I escaped and the govt. paid my way home from Dubai, they assured me they would not let Mohammad reenter the country...well guess what HES BACK and I am in a never ending fight with homeland security, I notify them, they tell me they will get back with me.
Get this my TERRORIST ex husband just received 90 days in jail with credit for two weeks served for a past drug charge in 1998 that he fled the country from
MY SON who made a mistake at the age of 17 when I was in Iran, he acted out and did a robbery, he has been in prison TEN YEARS but they only put the terrorist in for 90 days....IS THIS GETTING THROUGH TO ANYONE OUT THERE?????

As I said in an earlier post, I know just how much our freedom of speech is being controlled. As I said when I was flown back from Iran after spending six weeks handcuffed to another girl (who had ties to America but was from Bahrain) i was not allowed to go public with my story because I was told that if I went public then the public would demand a war with Iran and at that time they couldn't afford it *(our govt. couldn't afford it because it was approx. one month after 9/11). Even though anyone who was American or had American ties were thrown into these POW camps out in the hills of Iran. We were used as leverage or insurance is all that i can get out of the understanding of it all.
All I know is our govt did nothing, they did send in a blackhawk helicopter to see if these camps were real because within the camp we heard them talking about one that had crashed or "they" had shot down, if you do a search online in Mid-October of 2001 a blackhawk went down over there but no information about why is exact.
There is so much I was not allowed to say, and this is because the govt. would look bad if my story got out. That is why I'm sure it still isn't able to get national recognition. I'm not looking for fame just acknowledgement, not only for what I went through but for all the people who weren't able to get out of that camp or others like it!
Please buy my book on Amazon or through my website (profits go to charity e.g. Amnesty International) The name of it is LORI'S SONG by Lori Foroozandeh, or visit my website:

I watched Maziar and I could not believe his story. What I mean is: I sincerely believe he's a liar. No way would he have walked away without physical evidence confirming this horrific event. His smirk, and uneasy attitude when he spoke of News Week. Who confirmed this story? My opinion was swayed when he could not look the interviewer in the eye when they showed his interview talking about News Week and then the blabbing about New Jersey. Come on. I guess Americans are suppose to believe anyone who comes forth with a story about abuse. It's our internal compassion for anyone who's suffered at the hands of someone else, especially one of our so-called enemies. I'm not buying without a great deal of research that we can use to qualify some existence of proof. From the clip I saw - he did not appear believable in my eyes. All this clip did for me was to make me more suspicious of this one individual.

I would also like to add that after writing cbs I was told by one of their staff representatives (and I have the letter to prove it) that my story was outdated and boring. So this person is saying all those who have lost someone or something during the 9/11 incident well their stories are outdated and boring. I'm sure this is something our troops would love to hear. I was put into that camp the DAY AFTER 9/11.
I have been ignored by CNN who told me when I returned that my entire story couldn't be told due to if it were made public the public would then demand a war with Iran and our govt. couldn't afford it at that time...which was one month after 9/11.
If you have any questions for me or about my experience please email me at lori@loris-song dot com
I would appreciate any help I could get at getting this story out to the public!

I watched this Sunday's program regarding Iran and the revolutionary guard. Why haven't I been contacted regarding my six weeks in a POW camp in Iran. I was put there the day after 9/11, our govt was notified and made me sign a nondisclosure agreement before paying my way home on Nov. 14 2001. My book is published and is available on Amazon and through my website www.loris-song.com
Name of book is: LORI'S SONG by Lori Foroozandeh
It was just released in July 2009, it took me eight years to complete this book due to suffering from severe head injuries and internal injuries from rapes and rifle barrels. I need to get this information out and refuse to go the way of such mags as Nat'l Enquirer. I would appreciate a response. I received a letter from Barbara Walters but do not know if this is legit.
Thank you, Lori Foroozandeh

Thank you for this story! I haven't wathed 60 minutes for decades but I probably should make a habit of it. The Iranians/Persians are good people and they deserve our support. What a shame our current American administration apparently did not agree when people were being slaughtered in the streets of Tehran. I am gratefull that our forefathers understood the value of citizens requiring the right to keep and bear arms. Without it, how are we any differnt than the hapless Iranians?
