Katie Couric is a news anchor wannabe! Her distorted interview with Sarah Palin was a set-up from the gitgo! In other words you were disgusting to say the least! After reading Sarah's book, "Going Rouge", It appears the media, including all but The Fox News Network, were out to get her at all costs! Too bad the other 49 States don't have Governors with her ethics and back bone to oust corrupt people in their administations! Illinois would be a good State to start in, with all the corrupt Governors we've had!
As far as Obama, he has too many Socialistic ideas and it's only a matter of time before the people of this country realize that he's selling us down the river and it's time to get him out of office!
c.k.

I loove this interview. I am a greatgrand mother,a christian,and an obamacan. Just when Sarah Palin thought she had knock Katie out of her place,God fixed it so Katie would sit with the President wife and have a most rewarding,moral,honest and encouraging to women of all races of people conversation. Thanks to Katie Couric and First Lady Michelle Obama for taking time to speak about issues that should be thought about by every American in support of having a country that believes people are it's greatest resource and the best chance for progress. Throughout the history of the role of American First Lady, their presence, ideals and dreams have been shared with the American public. Each First Lady has put their own "touch" on the White House. They have all taken trips, made speeches, supported their husbands, encouraged people to strive for the betterment of society and been seen as a representative of women everywhere. Listening to what any First Lady has had to say is only as important as you want it to be. Listening to anybody for that matter, is only as important as you want it to be. That's one of the rights you have as a citizen of these United States of America. So, it's not a matter of right, wrong, good or bad, it's a matter of does it mean anything to you; can you glean anything from the discussion and how does it affect anybody in your life.

In a country that spends so much time and money on an education system that only serves to undereducate those who don't do more than sit in a classroom, finding people who denegrate others for their achievements isn't a hard thing to do. It seems the internet and it's anonymity allows everyone the opportunity to have their opinions read or at least notated no matter how vile, offbase or derogatory they might be. Of course, opinions also serve to shine light into the darkness that is known as a persons real self and beliefs so allowing people to freely share their opinions serves to educate people as to what kind of country and society they are actually living in. I'd hope that people would continue to freelyshare their opinions online, otherwise how would we know where potential problems and dangers lie? When you can see a pothole in advance you have a much greater chance of not hitting it.

It takes a "thick skin" to be in a public position that's for sure.
Signed,
"It's not that nobody ever told me, it's just that I didn't know any better"

The First Lady of The United States of America Michell Obama, spoke well and did not act boastful or in an arrogant manner. In this interview and conversation with Katie Couric, First Lady Michelle Obama shows that she is even-tempered and has the strenght to make final decisions to make events happen; not only to help herself and her family to live and have a better life; But also for everyone else to have a better life to live as well.

This interview shows Michelle Obama is first and foremost a mom grounded in family values. It shows her commitment to helping others and a strong sense of self. Her answers were very thoughtful and articulated well. I understand that the politics in our nation are very polarized so attack of Michelle Obama and President Obama are going to be there. The constant polarized political rhetoric in the air colors the opinions of the public so there will always be haters ans supporters of any president in office. We are all emotional beings and emotions run hi and emotions dictate beliefs in religion and politics. The attackers feel they have lost something or will lose something, and the supporters feel they have gained something,it is that simple. So it is what it is,I can accept that whether I like it or not.

The problem the Fox Right faces is that the Obamas are good people
and smart and grounded in good values. They are earnest and down to
earth, unlike the image churned up by the Republican distortions.
The more they are on television in interviews like this, the more
phony will the Fox Right images appear to the ordinary Americans.

This interview could have been rated 5 bars if it were not limited to women's issues. I know it was a Glamour interview but it could have had broader appeal.

Rating= 4 Bars of Dial
