CBS news should be ashamed for giving La Gore any air time. What happened to your Walter Kronkite journalistic integrity? Al Gore is the biggest huckster and con man in this country. He's laughing all the way to his bank, collecting indulgences for carbon use from the gullible. With CO2 man has produced since the industrial revolution began, if it's still in the atmosphere, at .011% just how can it be the catastrophe that smart ass Al says it is? This is just another geopolitical plan to crush the greatest economy on the planet, with Al as the puppet and the UN IPCC pulling the strings. Wake up Ameerica!

Al Gore is only interested in the money he is going to make off of carbon credits. If trees give off carbon then why is it they want to plant more trees? To "fuel the energy fire". So they can make more an more money. Al Gore and his cronies are going to tax everything made of carbon and that's pretty much everything from wood products to yes, believe it out not...YOU. They eventually will have a tax on us because we are made of carbon. Obama is another one that is highly invested in this project. The ozone layer was hotter 400,000 years ago (when industrialization and auto use wasn't even a twinkle in a mans eye) then it is today. It's a cooling and heating process that the earth naturally goes through. He and his cronies are scammin' opportunists. They create problems or lies so they can solve them by passing a law that makes you and I pay for the (supposed)po solution and in the process they are raking in the bucks. Be assured the carbon credit scam will big BIG bucks. Oh yeah, and Katie Couric is not a journalist. She is only concrened about what her fans think of her and really has no knowledge of the topics she reports on. She should have a baking show instead.

I like Gore's messages, he seems very credible and sincere. the poor guy's got teeth like the british though, and his boots and tie hanging out, so cute but he seems like my 9 year old dressed him. but I really respect his message, what's on the outside is more important, but a little sprucing up wouldn't hurt, just like what susan boyle did

C'mon, no one is really taking this guy seriously anymore, are they, really?. After becoming the biggest one-man alarmist and no.1 opportunisitic money grubber of the late 2000's - haven't we had enough? Saying that there is a "a huge advertising campaign against global warming paid for by the biggest polluters" is pretty odd coming from the AL GORE REPOWERAMERICA media blitz we have been choking on. This is NOT the truth, just an inconvient cost to all Americans. Al should just take his millions and his private jet and his smug attitude and move to the Canadian beaches being created this winter.

Your interview with Al Gore was extremely weak. You should be more concerned with the facts supporting his positions. Recent data has shot many holes in the global warning position he holds, and you elected to talk about a public opinion pole and let him off with a very weak political answer. I would expect a journalist of your caliber to challenge people on controversal issues, not be part of their media campaign. All politicians try to deal with the messenger and not the message, your job is to get to the facts in the message.

I suppose that Al Gore will continue to be critized by the most outrageous of the "venom spewers" around - Karl Rove, the man who derailed Joh McCain's train in the 2000 South Carolina Republican Presidential Primary. What else is new? "Bush's Brain" is very predictable.
