This segment tonite on Faylene Grant is the first time I have heard of the case. I am Mormon, but do not attend regular meetings because I have been in the service industry, and always had to work on Sundays. I mention this early in my comment Especially since I am considered a Jack Mormon, one who has fallen behind, in the cracks, fallen astray. Which this is true, I am not the person I could have been because of the choices I have made in my life. I do not keep the Word of Wisdom, drink and smoke and have Blank with someone I am not married to and keeping the body pure, and clean before Heavenly Father. But One reason I write is because Not every one knows what is going through Faylene's mind as the perfect mormon. As She puts it "a fanatic". I was a fanatic too, but didn't get the support from family, or spouse. I am a convert, and she a born into the faith true blue Mormon.

But I think he is innocent. I haven't seen any of the evidence But I do know in this "community"; starting as early as President Brigham Young in Salt Lake City and his many wives; that wives openly shared responsibility for the children, and the husband. Serving specific needs of the Children or Husband. This is where the need for many wives came into the church doctorine. Also, many wives were left widowed, crossing over the harsh wilderness. The bible said for brothers to take up your fallen brothers wife.

For instance, one may travel with him, Another may teach the chilren, another run the household, or the storeroom, they did divide up the duties, but not the children, they were always considered as one.

But this is not unusual for women of this community to plan and openly discuss with such person a replacement for her as wife and mother upon her death. She didn't want her husband to greive, or lose anymore, She wanted him to have his needs met, Physically, emotionally and her childrens needs are met. Likely canidate would be best friend. Someone she has spoken to openly about. The Second Wife. Or inside the community Wife #2
