I enjoyed Dr. Ashton's interview with Dr. Raichur. When it concerns the pursuit of our well-being, it is encouraging when East meets West.

Thank you for posting such an interesting segment. I have been following a ayurvedic diet for a few years and saw a tremendous improvement in my overall well being. I used to have allergies, mostly from food, and these have decreased dramatically. My immune system is stronger too. I live in New York and go Pratima Raichur's spa for facials and massages. They're great and I recommend trying them. The products are amazing too and my skin has improved since using them. I would love to hear more about Pratima, as I feel that ayurveda has so much potential in helping people, especially when traditional western medicine fails.

I loved this segment but would like to know more. Particularly relating to children. I always feel at a loss when it comes to what to feed my child. If I knew EXACTLY what her body would function best with, what her particular dosha needs, it would be fabulous. My child is prone to mucous and colds especially in the flu season/winter. This year has been particularly rough with all these viruses flying around and I can not even tell you what my counter looks like lined up with supplements/vitamins that are near to impossible to get down a toddler. I know that whole food is the BEST vitamin source and would love to know more about the types of food each dosha needs to function optimally, as Dr. Raichur stated, and hopefully to therefore foster a healthier immunity. Please tell me more!

I am such a fan of Pratima and her products. Over 2 years ago I went to her for a consultation because my infant son suffered terribly from eczema from head to toe. She determined his dosha as Pitta and gave us a diet, supplement and skin care regimen for him that we use to this day. We had tried all of the pediatrician and dermatologist suggestions that simply treated the symptoms (usually with only minor and temporary relief) but thanks to Pratima, we treated the root cause of the problem and my 3 year old son has beautiful itch-free skin today. On the rare occasion that he does have a flare up, we know exactly whhich products to use from Pratima's line to fix it.

Thank you, Pratima!

'Dosha' means nothing more than a person having vision or insight. When you unscramble the word 'dosha' you get 'has OD'. You don't have to be an optometrist to know OD is a term for vision (right or left eye) I can't remember. But if you want to unscramble some more 'dosha' could read 'had OS' which is the symbol for the opposite eye.

To be more accurate it states that a person lives looking at the world a certain way but progresses in a new way of thinking and viewing their world. Thanks for the insight, and I hope that I did not incite you today. Love ya Dr. Jen you do great work.
