by menspeakout October 26, 2009 4:18 PM EDT: As a male survivor of abuse I can empathize with Tyler and I applaud him for putting his face to his trauma. Not very men are willing to come out of the dark and allow themselves to be identified as a survivor. Tyler has complete control over his story, so i'm glad he asserted his boundaries over what he wanted to talk about and what he didn't. He's undergoing a healing process that many male survivors will never reach. But maybe a few more will decide to speak out because of Tyler's appearance in this segment. Thanks for speaking out.
