Unplugged: Breaking Down Health Care Bills
October 14, 2009 10:57 AM
CBS News Capitol Hill Correspondent Nancy Cordes and Capitol Hill Producer Jill Jackson join Sharyl Attkisson to break down everything you need to know about the five health care bills in the House and Senate.

Do the unemployed not need Health care?
Public schools aren't tied to employment; the unemployed still get to have their children schooled for free at the public's expense. Shouldn't all Americans have free Health Care?
Is it more important to have free schools than free health care?
The only reason health care is so expensive is that all the doctors and nurses have to make very large salaries, and the hospitals charge very large fees for bed rentals and over the counter meds (like $10 for an asprin tablet and a thousand dollars (or more) a day for a bed). Also a large number of parasitical third parties and go-betweens are raising the costs with their commissions -- cut them out.
Health care is a necessity for all citizens, we should be thinking hard about making it free to all (and lowering the cost at the same time). Free health care is not an impossibility, other countries are already doing it. Greed and preference are the only things keeping America from doing what is right; greed and preferential treatment has become the new "American Way"!
