Eternal life as promised by Jesus is something other than eternal life in this vale of tears. But remember Methuselah and the rest of the "old gang". It's not that nothing is impossible; it's that many things are possible.

You can have eternal life by turning from sin and placing your faith in by calling on Jesus.

Hey Mo, I have ? 4u or anyone that gives a crap in the political world, so far no one has the balls to reply! K, here's the deal,,, I am 52 worked 20 years in const, had a legitimate injury that ended that career spent another 15 years fighting the Ohio BWC and wound up taking a cash settlement of $225,000 which has to pay for my drugs, rent, food etc. I seen on CBS news the other nite, that Saxby Chambliss and John Boehner spent $250,000 for (1) one years' worth of golf! *** is wrong here? On top of that I had to give my greedy attorney $50,000 of that settlement so I have $175,000 to live on the rest of my life, PERIOD! I think like most Americans anymore, the only way we'll get rid of this inbred Washington corruption is get rid of the "inbreds" and the only way to do that is let the mideast terrorist bombers clean house in Washington! Sorry I have no hope for this country anymore!

Eternal Life has always been possible:

?For God so love the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life? (John 3:16); ?And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world? (1 John 4:14).

Faith is what guarantees our eternal life.

None of these concepts is new or even vaguely interesting anymore, to people who have read science-fiction. Robert A. Heinlein covered most of this himself, in his 49 year writing career.

I noticed he overlooked children and the world's population. Would anyone want to have children at the age of 100 or older? Is there a way to delay puberty until someone us much older to begin with, allowing for the possibility of people to mature before becoming parents? Three or four times the lifespan would certainly affect the resources of the planet much nore than they are now. How would we redefine "retirement"?
