Marilyn Monroe, James Dean and Elvis are dead and now, so is Michael Jackson. But as Steve Kroft reports, they are very much alive when it comes to earning money for their estates.

While this was a very interesting segment, Steve Kroft should be ashamed of the disrepect he showed to the deceased. I was amazed that a professional news reporter would attempt humor at the expense of the dead. Hopefully Steve Kroft issues an apology to the families and heirs for his tasteless and crude comments. The agents repsesenting the deceased were more professional and respectful than your reporter. Referring to the deceased as "working stiffs," I believe Kroft's comments surprised even them! It is amazing that CBS would allow this segment to air without editing his offensive remarks.
