I must add that in countries where news is controlled, the government controls not only the media but the people's minds. More and more, our media is being controlled by big money and political sides. We must insist that we are informed objectively. The present system is leading to discontent and confusion. People are being led to think a certain way, to vote a certain way, by only giving fragments of truth, if any truth. Gossip and fear are lead stories. Inuendos leading to mistrust cast shadows on the character of candidates and people eat it up. One must read many papers, listen to all sides of issues and try to get into the issues deeply. educate yourselves or become slaves.

McCain is not a member of the right so this is not controversial. CBS News is simply publishing a sound byte. This is exactly the same thing Rush Limbaugh said in February 2008. But thanks for the reminder why John McCain is a pain.

Oh my goodness, even pundits can grow a brain. Of course either Clinton or Obama are better presidential choices than McPalin or Sarah McCain. Sarah who? LOL

I'm a lifelong Republican who officially joined the Republicans for Obama PAC last year. I'm very, very happy with President Obama. Those who oppose his ideas are either being deliberately obtuse or have yet to grow a brain.

Haas it occurred to any of you simpletons that continue to down Beck that perhaps...just MAYBE...he makes seemingly stupid statements like saying McCain would have been worse than o, though he would have been bad, no WAY would he have been this big a disaster. The reason behind his madness is...it GETS him a interview with some of the liberal MSM. O'Reilly has done essentially the same thing. Behind closed doors they know what a travesty sits in the Oval Office, but if they adhere only to that, it sets them up as the far right wing loons that, by and large, they are depicted as anyway.

More importantly, however, it does gain them the ear of more people who have been totally snowed by ABC, CBS, ABC, CNN et al. I mean, when they get wind of Beck paying a compliment (albeit underhanded) to B Hussein, they want to hear what else he has to allow. Good on him, and Bill.

Maybe Glenn Beck is finally wising up to the way he has been all these years was both morally & ethically wrong. Telling millions of people how to hate, lie & discriminate against others. Hope he has seen the light & will change his ways.I am not a Democrat or a Republican. I vote for whom I feel is right for the job. For the 1st time ever I agree with Glenn that John McCain would of been far worst than either of his two Democratic opponents. Now we need to get Rush to see the light & discontinue his idiotic ways. Hope Glenn lives for the truth of America & tells his listeners that what he has done in the past to hate, lie & treat others like dirt is wrong & anti-Christin. Maybe being so far Right is not what Glenn wants anymore. I'm not saying being either of the right or left side is bad or good. Just that the Republican side has done so much hatred over the last several decades... think about it. Time for America to work together, not separate! That will for sure destroy this great country I love so damn much! GOD BLESS THE USA!

It is amazing to me that that the two most popular right wing opinionators are ex - substance abusers. So they say...

How much credibility would you give an un educated ex addict who comes into your home and then attempts to convince you they know better how to run this country than those elected to do so.

What is it that some ex drunks or pill poppers who clean up their act
suddenly feel they are now qualified political thinkers.

In Glen Beck's case. With all the qualities that have made a so called noted opinion maker ...I think he should start all his shows like he did when he went to AA....My name is Glen Beck, I am an alcoholic and this is what I think about this country and those who run it. The public should know who you are listening to.

Interesting that Beck wouldn't explain what he means by "white culture". Perhaps the term is a synonym for "aryan culture"? Or perhaps for "Confederate culture". lynch-party postcards and "get to the back of the bus, boy"?

Listen and research the facts for yourself. Stop the name calling and look at this like adults. If Mr Beck causes you to look at the issues and think about them then he has done a good job. Be a thinker not a follower... that goes for both sides. Have respectful debates on the issues and learn from each other. This country can only survive somewhere in the middle... it is a balancing act that is trying to lean way too far to one side at the moment.

An old saying a leopard doesn't change his spots.
My question to you is DO YOU TRUST ANY POLITICIAN.
Listen to the Tea Pot Dome Scandal and see how to become president..
Have a good day.

The intelligence level of the comments on this site reflect the dumbed down approach to "news" that characterizes network media. There's no fact, just opinion; no analysis, just innuendo, smears and distraction. Moral relativism reigns supreme in this wilderness of emotion, moral equivalence, and wishy washy childishness. Beck shouldn't have wasted his time with juvenile interviewer.

Same ol, same ol with you libs, once you start losing the debate, you attack the messenger.

Absolutely! Liberals -- party of hate and non tolerance for anyone who disagrees!! Beck has nothing to fear from telling the truth. Neither does Limbaugh. Jealousy out there among the libs? Ya think?

I'm sure Glen misspoke when he said Theodore, FDR started social security which sounds good but gets abused like every other gov. program as it sucks the dollars out of your paycheck. Glen gave Katie something to chew on here with McCain, but Glen is entertaining to listen to and gives sources on the info. he passes to you, who else does that?

People change, believe it or not. They even grow up a little. Don't expect to much from a six year old though.
