Wow...sort of difficult to begin this one without concerns for coming across as a stereotypic mimick out of "Good Fellas" but I have to say something....however it comes across.

In life everyone is giving and everyone is taking. Those who have are always target of those who don't. You have money? You're target. You have family? You're target. You have power in Brooklyn? You're a juicy target. In John's realm, if you tolerate dissent, you die. You're in the lead? There are a lot of people who want to take it from you. Point blank: they want you to take a permanent vacation with their full blessings. That's just where you happen to be. It's unfortunate that you see no respectable way out....a live.

So what develops is all premised on doing whatever you know best to protect yourself and those closest to you. Often its at the expense of the lives of others.

You see John Gotti? Then you see America. He's made in the U.S.A.

Please, don't just take our word for it. Just ask all the people abroad who we claim we're helping by killing them and training them how to continue killing each other.

These writters in comments didn't know exactly so better ,and to add in something wiser since everyone is in this crime subject years past! Now watch the oldies in 50's Las Vegas on networks television.

To think of "J.G."senior horrorable dictator over deaths groups in certain handful numbers and his underbosses own businesses together combination also all in several movies. That Five families in tune together formally chargers already and sentences well completely after cancer about his own death in jail.

bubbybooboo....REALLY??? LMAO, Must be relation too honeybooboo to make a comment like the one above!!!! Tell that to John Favara's kids and Family!!! He "MAY HAVE" saved ur life (doubt it tho) but He killed John Favara over an "ACCIDENT" and was CONVICTED of 13 MURDERS nevermind the ones He got away with!!!! He was a peice of "you know what" that destroyed many lives and to this day His Family still profits off it. The "Mob" and people in it were all TRASH....living off other people's misery, bunch of no good,killing theives !!! People need to stop "Glorifying" that life and see it for what it really was. And BTW, John Gotti is NOT IN HEAVEN !!! Just sayin :)

everyone can say what they want to about this man ! he is & always be considered "my hero" the man saved my life in "1977" when all i was doing was trying to go to the police dept to fill out a report & apparently i was in the wrong neighborhood @ that time ! he stopped something that could have been very bad & it was broad daylight. {yeah to all those people who don't know it was bad back then} ! mr. gotti up in "heaven" i thank you !

Let's see. Preside over a gambling, racketeering, loan-sharking, and drug distribution empire. Unduly influence elected officials, Re-distribute income and put the muscle on those that disagree with you. Other than being on the other side of the law, sounds like John G was the President of the United States! Stop the hypocrisy.....
