I am completely over CBS. You took the best show ever off in my opinion. No other Soap compared to Guiding Light and I could not believe what you put in the time slot GL had. I was in hopes the Soap channel would pick it up and what a disappointment that did not happen. Just keep showing crap like Big Brother and other reality stuff and see where that gets your network in the ratings. Goodbye CBS for now and I think always........tnbelle700

Yuk, those were boring as hel1, I hated them.
I like to call them by the alternate titles;

"As my stomach turns"
"One life to ruin"
"Venerial hospital"
"Ryan is hopeless"
"Guiding my ____"

how can you say goodbye to a program i have watched for 35 years.
cbs could have kept this on.many people video tape soaps,or dvr or tivo them.why dont the networks consider this in thier ratings.guiding light was my favorite.like young and restless but its starting to get like bold and beautiful which i think is the worst soap ever yet it gets ratings.i and my wife love guiding light they are family to us.they are going to replace it with a remake of an old game show how stupid.may stop watching cbs daytime.i dont watch days of our lives hate the abc soaps.just try and find something else to dvr.shame on cbs.guiding light was the best

I don't know if I can bring myself to watch it, it's really going to sad to see it, GL is really good right nnow there emotions are really coming out shame.

That's the point I've been trying to make what Morley said. Soaps are dying, people can't watch them when there on. Why don't the idiot network consider DVR, TVIO and web viewing; the networks need to get into the 21st century.

Look what there doing to AMC moving it to L.A.. Y&R is bizarre desperate for ratings even there number one; they?ve been renewed for 2 years but they tried to make the actors either take a pay cut or be reduce to reacquiring status. Now know why no one wanted the Daytime Emmys it sucked and the why treated GL applauding I will never watch it again. I sure hope they finally get the respect they truly deserve Sad sad day for soaps. Good by old friend What can be done to save the soaps.

I have been watching GL for 28 years since I came to the US. I'm so sad that this show is closing. I will miss all of you dearly and thank you for the entertainment that you have given me over the years. Goodluck to all of you.
