Wow, that was really good. I wish Leslie the best and I hope her book reaches parents whose children unknowingly suffer. I hope she will consider talking to Jr. & High school kids, girls and boys.

Leslie Lipton (Lipo tel n lies. That is the problem that people have when they view themselves. Our body tells us the truth, buth society tells us we are not special in anyway because we are supposed to fall into a category deemed acceptable by them. That is a lie.

When we look in the mirror and our weight does not change after exercise and eating well we resort to doing things against the nature of our bodies. So bulemia and anorexa nervosa traits, binge dieting and other excesses take place because we want to feel 'normal', because society tells us we are not normal. That is a lie.

Congratulations Leslie for speaking out and I just wish you had pictures so we could compare the before and afters. Visuals are always helpful because it provides credibility. Thank you Dr. LaPook for exposing this terrible disease. Good luck Leslie and family.
