Everyday Andy Rooney sees people lugging around bags and backpacks that are filled to the brim with stuff. He says it is a sign of the changing times that everyone is carrying extra weight around.

I fly every 2 weeks from Miami to NJ, and I get on the plane without even a carry on !

Andy, pleeeeease trim your eyebrows. Who knows what's living in there ??

Andy is a wise elderly citizen whose commentaries come from experience and observation; he comments on topics no one would think of and his message is delivered in an intelligent, unexpected and funny way making his overall program time more attractive to watch. The response that he gets whether positive or negative is proof that people are still addicted to him.

Oh please "Spectea". take the man for what he is. even when he isnt funny he is hilarious just for being so unfunny and out of touch. he is a pleasure and you are not. climb into a whole and retire yourself.

On Andy Rooney's segment about "what are you carrying" I wish he would have said how wonderful it was to see so many people with books... with the dumbing down of America I was delighted to see so many planning to read... Andy is not funny anymore... book reading is good!...and more women need planners because their lives have become more involved... not that they just plan to drink water ... he is so out of touch .. now that Don Hewitt has passed ..let Andy go too! I have watched 60 minutes for decades and say it is time to retire Andy
