- I am 37 years old and have been a fan of 60 minutes as far back as I can remember. This was the best episode ever. It told me a fantastic story. Words can't describe how moving it was. That being said, the audio was too low.

- Don Hewitt and CBS News owes a great deal to Douglas Edwards. Walter Cronkite said it best "I was preceded in this chair by a gentelman and great broadcaster, Doug Edwards".

- I loved the piece but I must admit I was disappointed Mike Wallace didn't contribute. As the program demonstrated he had some epic battles with Mr. Hewitt and it would have been fun to hear his tribute to his former boss.
