We are missing the point about the wording in the bill. Most of it , not all, is open for interpretation and is not clear. It's not the death clause that is the problem it's the "views of life" of Emanual the presidents right hand man and Dr. Emanual the key figure in the operation of this program. It's the doctor that is going to be the decision maker on all the committees that is going to be made. His views on life after 2 years old and 55 years old are the problem. In order to get the money for this program it is said that a lot of cuts will be made. You can't make cuts and still add people with out raising money elsewhere. Guess where that will come from. Medicare and Medicaid?? The whole plan is thoughtless and unprepared and done too fast with too little thought and planning. The plan as is is too costly and much to much full of unnecessary junk that does nothing but "control" our lives.

I find it funny that reveal5 and the liberals think that conservatives are less charitable and compassionate than they are. Yet statistics don't support that at all.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/03/conservatives_more_liberal_giv.html

Summary: Conservatives give 30% more to charity than liberals.

http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/2008-09-12-biden-financial_N.htm?csp=34

Summary: Biden gives just $369 to charity every year yet he makes millions.

http://www.joelcomm.com/bush_vs_kerry_who_is_more_comp.html

Summary: John Kerry gives little, but George W. Bush gives tens of thousands.

The point: back up your words with facts. Conservatives are NOT greedy and selfish. Conservatives give their money to more efficient and less corrupted non-profit private charities as opposed to greedy bureaucrats and politicians that only care for more power. Conservatives believe that the willpower and hearts of the PEOPLE can do more to change lives than the GOVERNMENT.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/lifestyle/general_lifestyle/june_2009/69_value_volunteer_service_over_political_activity

A direct quote from the article: "While 57% of conservatives lean toward volunteerism as the best agent of change, 72% of liberals have more faith in government action."

Volunteerism is the act of physically or financially doing something YOURSELF for other people. Government action--the cornerstone of liberal ideology--is asking OTHER people to do something for you, while using OTHER people's money to do it. Basically, liberals believe in instituting change (and taking credit for it), but they expect taxpayers to pay for it.

This health care bill is a prime example. Liberals want OTHERS (essentially the rich people) to pay for THEIR bills. Cap and trade (which will punish everyone), a stimulus (which haven't worked), healthcare... it is all the same to them.

I find it ironic that the liberals play class warfare.
"The rich are greedy."
"Republicans are just rich old white folks that love corporations."
"Republicans don't care about others, just themselves."

Yet we have already established that:
1. liberals, including their politicians, are less charitable than conservatives (which makes them greedier).
2. conservatives believe in the power of service over government.
3. liberals expect taxpayers to give them free stuff. I mean, education, cash for clunkers, healthcare, union wages, social security and retirement, and free immigration (once the liberals allow the illegals to have amnesty) should be enough, but it NEVER is to a liberal. He or she ALWAYS expects the government to give us more "free stuff".
4. Who is paying for this? Since liberals believe that "republicans are rich people and CEOs" and it is well known fact that rich people pay more money in taxes than poor (and not to mention that liberals like Geithner and Daschle can't pay their own taxes), then through interpretation, that means that Republicans put more into the treasury than Democrats do, yet it is the Democrats that are spoiled and spending like teenagers.
5. Some extra information for thought. Out of the ten most bankrupted states, eight of the ten were blue states. The federal stimulus bill was used to bail out the states and help them pay off their debt. Interpretation: liberal blue states were fiscally irresponsible and begged for taxpayers, including those from fiscally responsible states, to bail them out. Who gave away the money like candy to kids?-OBAMA, Pelosi, and Reid. The thing they have in common?-they are all liberal Democrats that expect their projects to be paid for by hard working taxpayers.

Conclusion that can be made:
Liberals want money from others rather than finding the money themselves.

Those who want the public option should think very carefully. Go see what happens on the Indian reservations and see their Govt. run health care. Then opt into their plan. You will love it. Just don't get sick after June.

Lately, Republicans have been pushing their OWN ideas for reforming healthcare. That's a great idea but its six years too late. When you OWN the U.S. government for six of the last eight years, and do nothing to reform healthcare, its pretty well understood that you don't think there's a problem. For Republicans to say we should let the free-market fix our healthcare now is for them to admit we have a problem. And then they have to admit they had everything they needed to fix this problem for six years, and did nothing.

Socialism has never worked, and never will. It leads to untold suffering and the collapse of societies. Taking money from others at the point of governmental power is immoral. Get off your behinds and start making a life for you and yours!

The Dems conceded far enough when they took Single Payer off the table.

That was a HUGE concession.......the GOP won't be happy until any reform passed is meaningless.
