I am disappointed in the forensics in this case. Looking into this man's eyes gives me chills. I think he did "lose it" that day and if not for shoddy investigating and evidence gathering, the case would have turned out with his conviction for murder. This case only went to trial a few years ago, yet the investigation seemed to be conducted as though it was the 1970's, complete with lack of definite DNA results. Very sad story.

I am so moved by the victim's brother. I am in awe, and I am a 46 year old female lawyer with lots of life experience. I have never seen someone with this level of sincere selfless love for his deceased sister and her son. His honesty and his ability to .... move forward somehow without bitterness is just truly the most amazing thing I have ever seen. It brings me hope and a tremendous example to live up to. Mrs. Hopesong was so blessed to have such a remarkable and rare brother. He should be very proud as to how he is memorializing his sister. Oddly, I was given the Heartsong Tofu Cookbook in undergrad back in 1992. I still have it.

O.J. Simpson replay, but Sadly, an innocent person was murdered. Alibi, circumstantial evidence, prosecutors' fumbling, same murder weapon--very coincidental.

Not easy to pass a lie detector test, no idea who's fingerprint was on the front door and no idea who's bloody footprint was left or those hairs. Too many if's!

OMG, how could investigators botch an investigation so bad. Was the car checked for her blood? I cannot believe they did not check his body after the murder. All the investigators on this case should be fired.

I live in Lake Worth, Florida, right down the road from where this murder happened. I never miss 48 Hours Mystery--one of the BEST shows on TV.

Of course it's in re-runs. It is, after all summertime.
