Mr. Brown did a solid job. You can't force people to be emotional or contrite. At first, I thought maybe prison does reform, maybe Vick saw the error of his ways. Then, when Brown pointed out Vick's image consultants I began to think he was reciting a well rehearsed script.

I thought Brown did a fair and stern interview. Refreshing to see him on "60 Minutes." He and his producers did well.

Sure! They gave O.J. a second chance! What a great country! Charles Manson has great musical talent...shoulda given him a second chance decades ago!

I was very disappointed with the James Brown interview of Michael Vick. Vick did not appear believable in his remorse and the whole interview appeared as an "Michael Vick" infommerical. As a previous commenter said, Vick showed no remorse - he isn't even a good liar. Anyone who watched his face, not listening to his words, could see how he, Michael Vick, himself didn't even believe in his own words. I am VERY, VERY disappointed in 60-minutes for selling out to Vick's publicist to air this phony interview.

I laud Mr. Brown for trying but it was so obvious that Vicks was espousing some mantra or lines he was fed by his handlers. There was no correlation between his words and facial expressions. He is such a poor liar or a sociopath. He is too self-absorbed and heartless- that is why he showed no emotion or sincerity. HE SHOULD GIVE UP HALF HIS SALARY AND DONATE IT TO THE HUMANE SOCIETY AND PETA. I would not be surprised if he raped young girls, boys or women. Mr. Brown was too polite-but he should have said that Vicks did not seem sincere and that he suspects that most viewers would see this too. I am very disappointed with 60 minutes-it is obvious where you stand.

Good interview Mr Brown although I feel Michael Vick still does not get it. I am no where near convinced that he is remorseful for torturing and killing dogs. I still feel from the interview he is sorry he got caught and sorry for the financial hit he took. But, no worries he'll get it back...we reward celebrities for bad behavior.

As a public figure, James Brown has set an example for the youth of today. He was the perfect choice for the interview with Vick. His questions were stern, forthright and designed to be a hard-hitting and straight forward quest for truth. I felt that though Michael Vick answered honestly, he doesn't yet fully understand the impact of his actions. His mentors (and I believe they are good ones) have their work cut out for themselves. And, once Mr. Vick "gets it" he'll likely be a positive influence with our youth as well. Thank you, Mr. Brown for being another fine DeMatha brother!

I've liked James Brown for years as a sports broadcaster.I,for one would like to see him in a dual roll, sports and news.60 minutes news is my pick for Mr.Brown.James would be a breath of fresh air.60 min. needs someone who is objective.Don't read this the wrong way,I love 60 min. too, have for the past 35 years. Thank you for the Michael Vick interview.I now feel the opposite about him. I think he'll redeem himself in short order.
