Any plan that doesn't severely cut back on medical liability claims, rein in doctor's fees and remove the emergency obligation from all but true emergencies. Obama is unwilling to take on any of these.

Since there are numerous versions of the Health Care Plan and doubtless many more to come, it is pointless to argue about it. It would be much better if Obama would publish the EXACT plan he and congress agree on and let us look at it for a month or two. Unfortuneately, Obama doesn't have a clue what it'll be like.

Obama has been asked for the exact details and detailed budget projects on this plan for 2 years. He has refused to provide them.

There is no reason to rush this by the end of the year except political .

You mean other than the fact that we are pissssing away TRILLIONS of dollars in waste on an inferior system, that doesn't cover 1 in 6 people, and let's 18,000 per year die because they lack health insurance, while the CEO's of the biggest pharmaceutical companies and HMO's are making tens of millions of dollars?

As Obama said today in New Hampshire. The public option will lose money just like the Post Office. He used Fedex and UPS as examples of private companies that compete with the Government just fine as an bench mark on how private Insurance companies will do against a Government Insurance program .

So since the Post Office will lose 7 Billion this year delivering the mail, how many trillions would the Public Insurance option lose dealing with costs millions of times greater.

So since Obama agrees that private companies operate with little problem as compared to their public options, then we should use this lesson and forget the Public option and save Trillions in the process.

Thanks for the education Mr. Obama.

The absolute truth is that we cannot afford a health care bill. The Federal Government cannot efficeintly keep restrooms clean at government offices or administer a much smaller medicaid plan. How in the world could they manage our health care? Obama and Pelosi are both nuts for even thinking this would work.

The media is helping out Obama? You've got to be kidding. But then, maybe those who think this way actually aren't kidding at all. And they obviously didn't listen to this video... Maybe if these guys had been on AM talk radio they'd have made more sense to the people whose minds are made up. So OK, guys: Please be sure to let the rest of us know when you turn down Social Security and Medicare -- those super-liberal, socialist government programs.

It is a shame when politicians try and push medical reform on Americans when they themselves do not know what is actually in the bill they are fighting for. It appears that Obama and his czars think everyone is stupid except them. Just put on the democrat blinders and call it good. The messiah Obama as spoken, now believe, then reach into your children?s pockets to pay for it. Obama would have been good in the 1800?s selling snake oil to cure all the populations? medical problems.

I read earlier that gun a gun toting republican was strolling around outside the Town Hall meeting in New Hampshire.
Since his gun was legal, and he had permisson from a church (of course, what could be more religious that a handgun) to use their property to intimidate people he was not arrested.

But like Homeland Security reported earlier in the year. We can expect a rise in Right Wing Violence. I would expect it to start soon.

I thank CBS for presenting truth. Unfortunately, there are those who don't care about the truth. Big money is in full force and have conned some in the public, but surprise to them, not all of the majority.

Seeing video of the people who have lost all sense of truth and are so filled with hatred, reminds me that these are the same type of people who kept screaming, crucify him, crucify him.
