Are these People crazy. How can you blame a judge for Darren's attempted murder and murdering his wife. This guy was just selfish, sick and crazy. Darren's story about what happened in the garage was crazy. She didn't go there with a gun. Im sure a 5'4 woman can over power a 6' man OMG anyone that believes that has major issues......and needs to be commited themselves.
This stupid guy garret what a looser he is just another man that is selfish and doesn't want to pay child support.
This other woman that is standing by his side is crazy as well.
His son claims he is a mentor. OMG who would want a mentor Murderer. If it had been his mother who was killed would he feel the same way. i doubt it
I hope that erika is raised by her maternal grandmother. When she is old enough to research all that we watched I doubt she will want anything to do with him. A million aire who didnt want to give up 480,000 and 10,000 a month to help raise hi daughter now has nothing. He should have fried!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mack got most of what he deserves. I hope he lives a long time. He'll be elegible for parol when he's 83. I hope he's looking forward to it because he's not likely to get it. In the mean time his life will be hell when he can't call the shots. When he screws up in prison he won't get a trial. The boys will exact their own form of prison justice and Mac will come to find he's a big fat pile of nothing. If only we could skin him alive and have him dipped in salt.

I actually laughed out loud when the defense suggested Charla slept with the judge to prove Darren's "insanity." What a psychopath, what a narcissist, what a empty shell of a human form, totally bereft of anything resembling a spirit or soul. You can see it in the eyes, the emptiness, the blackness. After awhile you can see it--the empty shell through the eyes of sociopath killers-- if you train your own eyes how to look for it. I agree with G Costner that this couple never loved each other. He has no concept of what love is, and she went along with the sad, sad program for whatever reason. And I agree that the child should be spoken to honestly and educated about sociopathy.

It is really scary to see how some people can be so ruthless, spoiled, and lost.
Are we all as humans capable of this savage behavior?...SCARY!!!

The lesson here: Don't mess with Darren Mack. Shooting a judge sniper style at the courthouse? Now that's ballsy! Don't think I've ever heard of that before. Seriously though the guy snapped and should pay for his crimes. Dumb, dumb choice Darren, you idiot. I only wish I had what you had. Money, women, power, 2 loving children. So what you were getting a divorce and the judge probably really was an ******* but that doesn't mean you start killing people. You should have gotten the death penalty. Idiot.

Guess he doesn't know that when you have 10 million and get a divorce that the wife and kid get some of that money? Why couldn't he have been happy with 7 million?

This is the most classic case of Narcissistic Personality Disorder ever seen. Grandiose, always the victim, vengeful, the list goes on and on. The new "girlfriend" (she also paints a classic picture of an Inverted Narcissist and would do well reading Sam Vaknin's work) is picture perfect for Darryn Mack. Naive, plain Jane, committed to his victimhood right along side him. How long will he milk her for whatever he needs from behind bars? God I hope she doesn't sacrifice her own life for this monster. And to the Charla's mother, it is not "badmouthing" Erika's father by educating her on his pathology. She NEEDS to know of his personality disorder so she can be educated and help prepare herself to not make similar choices in her own adulthood. He's not insane, but clearly is disordered and this is critical information for her, as she matures, to understand (it will also explain to her why he murdered her mother which is a question which will haunt her her entire life). It's also important she know the REALITY about her mother--there was no abuse, there was no gun in that garage. Her mother was an innocent victim of a Malignant Narcissist, much like Laci Peterson. Educate, educate, educate this girl, please. Much love to Charla's family and loved ones...

Whatever happened to having the punishment fit the crime, anyways?! Sure, Darrin deserves to be severely punished, but is dead; killed without remorse or pity.

His first defense attorneys were probably doing what he told them HE wanted them to do for him, after all, they were being paid to defend him. When people don't get their way, out of having a spoiled life, we see one tragedy after another occur. He is, in my opinion, one of the worst scumbags alive today.

Why should the American public have to pay for his room & board when he was guilty (for crying out loud) and thereby be removed from the public eye when he should be put to death as Charla was. I say let the punishment fit the crime... not to mention coersion by the guilty to look good or to degrade the innocent as his attorneys tried to do. The innocent normally are on the far edge of justice and wind up having character assasination thrust upon them, only because they don't have the tenacious mindset to play dirty.

IF he survives prison for the few years he may actually have to serve, I hope he enjoys all the men in there who love to poke and prod newbies, because that is what he liked... a perversed lifestyle.

When all is said and done, he will have to face God with fearful trembling, because there will be no mercy from God to those who commit heinous crimes without remorse or true, heartfelt repentance, which he posessed none of.

My heart goes out to the friends and family members of Charla Marie.

First, I would like to say, that I do not believe that Darrin and Charla were in love. People who love each other, do not have casual sex with other people. In stead of love, it was, lust and perversion, and sexual addiction.
This man, was clearly a rich kid, that had everything given to him his entire life. He also, apparently was never told no, because he insisted that he was always right and justified in everything he did. Darrin is plainly a habitual liar.
It is such a joke how he tryed to make Charla out as the abusive one. Any person in their right mind would never believe that.
The story he came up with about Charla grabbing his gun, and him stabbing her to death out of self defense, is the biggest lie. Anyone who would believe that, is really, stupid. The gun had to (disappear), because her fingerprints were never on it!
He is clearly an evil, cold-blooded killer.
The girlfriend who continues to defend him, is very, very, naive. She will eventually forget him, unless she has hopes of getting some of his money that he has hidden in a Swiss Bank Account, or that his family is holding for him.
Not only has Darrin got what he deserves, by having to go to prison, but some day he will leave this earth and go to Hell, a very Hot place.
The innocent one in all of this is the children. Especially the little girl whose Evil, sick father, killed her mommy.

The idiot would rather spend his money on hookers and exotic swinging vacations and of course. now legal fees that I'm sure cost much more than what he was originally should have given to his wife.

I hope he spends the rest of his life in prison, he certainly will have a lot of *****'s to swing from in prison.

As for his so called defender friends,. BITTER MISFITS AND LOUSY PARENTS. That old saying misery loves company fits perfectly in this situation.

Mack's lawyers are almost as stupid as he is. Claiming self-defense then temp. insanity in the same case? Who in their right mind would have bought that one?? Anyway at least he is where he belongs and hopefully his requests for having his plea taken back will not go anywhere, the family deserves closure on all fronts here.

the defense is stupid. why would she point the gun at her husband and want her husband dead when she is getting $10,000 per month. thats $120,000 per year ontop of the $480,000 payout the court ordered him to pay.

let me see.. if u were someone thats going to be receiving that amount of money from someone without having the need to even work for it except get a divorce. WOULDNT u want that person alive? he is worth more to her alive than he would be dead? think about it. if he dies or she kills her. she would get $0 MONEY at all and most likely she would have to get a full time job and she probably wont even get as much money for working full time. so it makes no sense. ANY person knows the defense is one of the most stupidest defenses as he is worth more alive to charla than he is dead.

the only reason why she would even point a gun at him would probably be for self defense as again i do not see a motive on why she would want to kill him other than self defense.
