Where is Congress on this? Where is the Senate on this? I think there should be an investigation concerning this report. I feel that the Saudi Family might have stopped this if they were informed by the White House that they had Bin Laden in their sights for extermination. We will probably never in our life time find out. There are so many lies being told by our representatives, can we really believe them?

Thank you to producer Shawn Efran and Scott Pelley for this story. What else do American's need on proof that Don Rumsfeld was an incompetant Secretary of Defense!! They failed to keep their focus on those who perpetrated the 9/11 attacks in order to advance the neo-con "agenda" in Iraq.

God Bless the soldier in this story and all those in harms way.

The only one to take Osama Bin Laden will be the good Lord himself and may he then recieve what he deserves from the judge Himselve.
May God have mercy on him.

The time has come to cross the border and stop by any means all the persons and families that have given aid to Bin Laden.

GEEZ, you don't think that the fact Osama Bin Laden's Saudi Arabian background and ties to his Saudi family and Big Oil companies had anything to do with Delta forces original kill plans getting denied by washington. This whole thing stinks and it smells all the way up the chain to the president. As an American for the first time after hearing this story, I am dissapointed, angry and ashamed at the leadership and corruption in our country. We are no different or better than those countries we say are corrupt. WHAT A SHAME we lost site of our objective to end terrorism and get justice for those who lost their lives on 9/11.

We gotta keep those opium fields safe from those crazy arabs who just want to burn them down. Thank goodness we have American and British troops keeping the heroin flowing to our kids here in the USA.

The story that was aired on CBS 60 Minutes on July 12, 2009 at 7 PM EDT practically mirrors the book, "Target Washington: The Search for Osama Bin Laden." ISBN: 9781434375230, a book that was published in April 2009, more than three months prior to the CBS report and written by Professor Milcript. If you need to know what really happened after 9/11, then this book is a MUST READ!
