Iran-Contra Scandal...Remember ??
US demands oil, we go out and purchase trillions of dollars to suffice our demand. Yes, oil may be a far fetched scenario, but in reality it is just the same. So long as the junkies, the pot heads, the crack users, yadi yadi yadi have a demand, some one is going to supply drugs.
In regards to the comment about the Mexican culture having unwarranted number of kids, come on now, where have you been hiding?
The US has the worst welfare system in the world, allowing women to have many kids out off wedlock just so they can collect food stamps, section 8 housing, medical and all sort of goodies from the government. Why don't you comment on that? If you did live in Mexico, or any Latin America country or any other country for that fact beside the US, if you do not work, you do not eat....period.
Most of the people on welfare are born US citizens that figure out how to milk the system by having countless amount of kids from different fathers and yes the tax payer money keeps them fed, descent housing and oh yes...food stamps. Food stamps that are later sold to crooks for cash so then the same welfare recepients go out and purchase drugs. Hmmmm..and then you comment about Mexicans having to many kids...granted it is irresponsible, but it is ok for the US government to support lazy and single parents with food, shelter and medication merely because they do not want to use any sort of protection while having sex. If the US discontinued " welfare" and implemented a no work, no eat policy I wonder what our society will be today. Better off or worse? In many other countries, as a child, and if your parents can not afford to send you to school, you are out there selling anything from gum, to washing windows, to washing cars, to selling home made tamales. WHY? Simple, you do not work, you do not eat.
But wait, you are a US citizen, you are an unwed mother, single with many kids, here you go, food, shelter and oh yeah, stamps to trade as back in the western days, trade you eggs for milk, only in this case, trade you stamps or debit cards for cash so then the welfare recipient can purchase drugs, so they can drive a nicer car than I and let us not forget they have to do their nails..oh no..can not forget that. And for some who really need and warrant welfare, I am only speaking in general, but I know and I have seen the abuse of the welfare system that is surely dissapearing. Which I believe is a good thing, it will cause people to grab a book, learn to read and learn to become a tax paying citizen like I have to with 2 jobs to make my mortgage.
Do I have any free money flowing in to even by an american tradition
Budweiser, on occasion, sure.
But I also see how many can not wait for the first of the month to roll around so they can have some thing to trade off and then use the cash to buy drugs..for we all know the dealers in the corner do not take ATM's, well not as today but I would not put it pass them in the future..ha.ha.
So come on America..unless we create a strong hold on the demand for drugs, we will only be creating more headaches for our kids and or the next generation for US citizens. Guns, extortion, crime, murders and all that is involed with this wonderful game of drugs can only detoriate, not dissapear in its entirety, if we the US focus on diminishing the demand. People...it is basic economics:
US demands drugs = Somo one has to supply drugs...Cut and dry.
