- I just want to say that I sympathize with shawn completely. I want to tell those who judge him for not coming forward and revealing his identity when he had the opportunity, that they need to back off. You have no idea how hard it is to be subject to utter mind control and manipulation yet have a "normal" life at the same time. His abductor treated him like his son and those on the outside saw him as having a normal life. On the inside however, you have no idea the fear he was living in. Shawn did what he could to survive and we should be proud of him for that. Only those in his situation will ever be able to identify. Shawn, I have to say that you did and excellent job! You didn't deserve this, but you did what you could to survive! Go You!

- It is amazing just how well adjusted Shawn appears to be after suffering through unspeakable horrors. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his parents. They are a totally remarkable family. Thanks to Shawn and parents for sharing their experience. Thanks to for sparing the much younger Ben who probably would have had a much harder time retelling the atrocities he endured. My best to all.

- Thank God for Mitch Hults and his extrordinary recall of details about that truck and Mike Prosperi and his hunchs! These are the kind of involved citizens we need more of. If it were not for these two gentlemen reporting their information to the authorities, this sadistic predator of innocent children might have been left to repeat this unspeakable insanity on others for years without consequence. Shawn and Ben are the most courageous boys. I pray they will be able to recover from their ordeal and do not let the horrors of their experience overshadow the rest of their lives. God Bless you both.
