Harry Markopolos repeatedly told the Securities and Exchange Commission that Bernie Madoff's investment fund was a fraud. He was ignored, and investors lost billions of dollars. Steve Kroft reports.

So what happens to the S.E.C.??? Shouldn't they be held accountable for being the agency responsble for over seeing this kind of thing. I mean they were told 5 times about this guy, the first years ago. Imagine how many victims could have been spared. I don't know a lot about this but if the S.E.C. is a government agency, they should be held equally as accountable and be required to help these people who lost everything. MARK you are a hero and your attitude of " there is nothing to be happy about here " shows your character and your family and friends should be proud to know you. You are a true gentleman.

This comment is in reference to David Letterman. I definitely think Mr. Letterman should be fired. He always does carry things too far. His comments are terrible.
