I unfortunately was a patient of "Dr." Stryker while he was going through the civil trial. I had no idea what he was accused of or that he was in a trial. This man lied to me, was negligent, letting cancer spread throughout my neck (he did not give me the appropriate tests), and then tried to blame it on me...in the very same calm demeanor he used in this interview. When backed into a corner, he admitted he lied (much like when he FINALLY pleaded guilty). I'll never forget him saying to me after telling me that I had cancer, "Well, don't you remember Sweetie, you refused treatment..." I NEVER refused treatment. I made that very clear, he then changed what he was saying and tried to blame me in another way. When that didn't work, he changed the subject. I went in to him with a .5 cm nodule. Under his negligent care, the tumor grew to over 3 cm, other tumors formed, and it spread throughout my neck. He also swore I did not have cancer...and, like a fool, I trusted him. I wish I had known. I wish I knew what he was on trial for, that the trial was going on while I was being "treated". He IS a psychopathic liar. Oh, and in the beginning of my dealings with him, he actually DANCED into his office, holding a handful of needles, spun around, and told me they were all for me...as if he was enjoying the fact that he was going to do this procedure (stab me in the neck with at least 6 very long needles)...what a sicko. I completely believe he is guilty and I hope he is put away for the rest of his life so he can no longer harm another person....I still have cancer. Had he acted as a doctor, I would not, it would have been caught in time. He is evil.

"America's Dumbest Doctors" - an excellent, edgy, non-fiction view of thousands of misbehaving physicians - is now available on Amazon and bookstores nationwide. The book also has it's own website, for those interested in this very weird phenomenon.

It is far more than unfortunate that physician misbehavior has never been more prevalent than it is today. The National Practitioner Data Bank has on record 237,000 MDs categorized by Public Citizen, as either "Questionable" or "Dangerous."

In my research here on the West Coast, I've stumbled upon data which indicates no professional in America is more prone to miscreant behavior than physicians. 800,000 MDs in this country, 237,000 problem children. Does any profession in America have a 1:4 nut-case ratio?

this man is a creepy sociopath. i cant stand how he talks, I think he is lying - talks like he is telling a story he has practiced.

Why would a young man pull next to another car in an empty parkinglot in order to make love - ask someone for condoms? when liars lie they create too much detail. That story was way too absurd. going on vacation and skipping the memorial service is more of the same BS
I am glad he lost his license, the perp needs to rot in hell

Dr. Stryker is a pschopath. His non-chalant demeaner and soft spoken voice is only a cover for his inner demons. Now in prison for perjury, perhaps the police and investigators will find enough evidence to put him away for murdering his girlfriend. How stupid can someone be to lie and make up a story about someone else committing the murder years later. He lied to everyone on tv about this. No evidence found clearly shows how a doctor knew what he was doing; he used surgical gloves to choke her. When someone says they don't want to go on a vacation, get the clue doctor. You can't force anyone to do what you want. With no more control left over her, he kills her and goes off on a vacation by himself anyway. This is what psychopaths are all about; no feelings or remorse for their actions. Did you see him cry on tv at all? Did you see him get mad and determined to find the "real" killer? No, instead we had to listen to his soft, calculating voice and listen to his lies. See how he turns things around during the interview; I didn't say that, they must have said it differently. Even a doctor can make stupid mistakes. But this guy won't be able to lie himself out of this one.

This man looked and sounded all through the show as if he was lying. It is typical that his psycho-therapist wife was clueless about his violent potential. Psychiatry is a meaningless discipline. They claim their illnesses are scientific but they are created by consensus. A criminal law professor explained that everyone is capable of homicide, given extreme circumstances. For a psycho-therapist not to be aware of that shows how ignorant some of them can be. When a witness appeared 15 years after the fact it was illogical. Why didn't he appear after the killing which had a lot of media coverage. It did not make sense that he waited 15 years. If you look closely at his face as he speaks on camera he reveals that he is lying. He shows no emotion. If you know a murder victim it is a very extreme emotional event. This was his love object. He is a cruel man with no feelings.

When I originally saw this story, I thought there was an outside chance that Dr. Stryker
could not have killed his girlfriend, as there were no defensive marks on his body after
the murder was discovered a day later. However, perhaps the police did not examine his body that close to see if he had sctraches or bruises that would have indicated that he
had been in a struggle with someone. I could understand him trying to recruit someone to come up with a phony mystery man who killed his girlfriend to save himself from having to pay the 15 million, which is sometimes awarded wrongly. Upon seeing the notes left by his girlfriend Doctor, it certainly seems that he was capable of becoming physical enough with her to kill her, especially after she cancelled a trip with him. I think that he thought once others realized that the relaionship was over with her, other co-workers would start looking at him in a different way, plus Lynn might tell a few things about him that would certainly have embarrassed him, which would have dealt a severe blow to his image which was very important to him. Thus, I believe he is guilty of having murdered her.
