This is a crock of poopoo. Every Wire, ACH credit order and Certified Check that was written in connection with the housing scam was cleared through the fed.

They knew what they were doing.

I tend to believe that Ben is sincere, but just why didn't anyone do anything before all this happened? There were complaints about mortages at least 5 years before all this happened. I guess I already know the answer to that question. There was a lot of money to be made in the process and nobody cared what the consequences would be down the line because they got theirs and are still getting hefty pay raises while people are losing their jobs, thier retirements, and their belief in this system.

I love Bernake's term ''systemic regulator''. I believe we needd to change the ''systemic regulator''. Read ''The Future Of America According To SCOHEN305'' on http://www.scohen305.blogspot.com to find out How.

Very happy that the Chairman gave this interview. It makes me feel much more comfortable listening to his plans for all of us. I sincerely hope that it works well and that all the loop holes or laws that allowed this to happen are eliminated. Our corporate leaders have shown with just a few that most do not really care at all about their fellow man and just care about themselves. A sad but very true fact as has been proven in the last several years. I'm content with this Chairman because he knows about the citizen and the hope of stability so all can plan and have a better future w/o the fear of financial failure. I hope he succeeds because if he does we all suceed. However, we have been in debt so long and I can't see a way out until we stop the spending and start paying the piper which will be very hard. If not, we will pass to our children a tax burden of, I've heard, 60 cents on every dollar they earn. That's speaking tons for my generation whom allowed it to happen.
