- Guys like Mr. Liddy make me sick!!! Of course he can afford to do the job for $1 a year - he has soooo much money he can AFFORD to do that - people like him have been amassing their own personal fortunes for YEARS from people who do make nearly that amount but have to do business with those pirates ; those same people are now in dire financial straits - but they can't afford to work for $1 year because they have bills to pay and families to take care of. Don't forget what AIG did with the very first "bail out" money - the only people who benefitted from THAT are people just like Mr. Liddy!!!!
