March 9, 2013 7:25 PM

Jack McCullough had an alibi and passed a lie detector test in 1957, when Maria Ridulph, 7, was abducted and murdered. In his only TV interview, McCullough talks with "48 Hours"' Erin Moriarty about his conviction and what he remembers about the little girl.

Can a childhood memory help solve 1957 murder of Maria Ridulph?

I'm convinced he raped his sister and that young runaway girl. That, in my mind, is certain. And he is a liar. Not a very convincing one either.
When the reporter asked him if he had been acquitted of the crime he did commit (rape) and convicted of a crime he did not commit (murder), he answered that he did not know. That is the clearest lie of all. Of anyone left alive on this planet, he is the one person who absolutely knows the answer to that question. The fact that he lied about it says it all.

A guy who lived down the street remembers that she was wearing patent leather shoes when she was three?

That is quite an interview. Erin Moriarty is the best. I am not 100% certain if he killed her, but he is a 100% sick individual. And he probably killed her.
