To ask a victim to touch a weapon that had been used to kill a loved one is pure stupidity on the part of the prosecution. Considering that one of the defendants was found guilty of the lesser offense of 2nd degree Murder goes to show all you did Prosecutor was re-victimize those girls and their father, way to go.

I would love to be the one to administer the injection on these wastes of oxygen.

If there is a hell....may they both rot in it for all eternity.

Indeed a horrific event in this family's life. For one who doesn't support willey nilly death penalties, in this case it is definitely justified. Killing of a mother and daughter point blank is pure evil. I do not see life without parole as being let off easy. But, that also depends on how they are treated in prison, not soft with many amenities. I wouldn't be against solitary confinement with 1 hour of the yard. Love had to carry the survivors through this ordeal.

As I watched this episode, I see that one was given a lighter sentence for his crime, To me it is not fair, he too should deserve the death sentence.
He was there, if he had any concern he should have stopped the other guy from committing the murders. Although he wrote his letter for retribution it does not mean what he had done could go away or be undone. He should accept his faith and be the man he say he is for the crime he committed.
For the family I can say, you pulled through, you bonded even stronger then before, this tragedy was a triumph in the end. I know your father is with your mom and grandma resting peacefully.

People talk about black on bkack crime. Fact is RACE has nothing to do with what some people have it in their hearts to do nor does gender really. Everything and the ONLY thing that matters is "what's IN a person's HEART". These bums had nothing in their hearts - no compassion, no emphathy, love, goodwill of mankind, society/neighbors/brothers/sisters/God's creations - NOTHING except "HATE" which is the strongest most DEADLINESS emotion of all. The 1robber/killer told the other to shot the dad - he refused so HE did it after the weapon would not fire twice....that was GOD. The 1st or 2nd shot that did not fire would've probably killed him. The 3rd shot was obviously aimed and hit an area that yes messed himm up but did not KILL him. This was for a reason - it saved his daughters and God bless the uncle who knew "hey my nises don't treat me like that" and he knew something was WRONG>

Horrible story and these criminals are subhuman morons. Everytime I read a story like this I'm more pro death penalty.
