I wish she'd stop pandering to the western media-- everytime she gets interviewed by the western press, she has always tried to charm and make a false impression on them by mentioning democracy. She wouldn't be talking about democracy if she's assembling an iPhone 6 for Terry Gou on the factory floor of Foxconn right now!!The #1 thing Chinese people crave for is money, OK! It is no difference whether it is China, Chile, or Cambodia. What is democracy if you don't have basic food and shelter? Stop fooling others and trying to impress the western media!
The other great irony of this interview is that she and her husband are the direct beneficiaries of a new economic policy, whereby developers have benefited enormously from the policies of the government. It surely wouldn't have been possible to be an overnight billionaire if everything was so transparent. So why is she railing against the very system that has made her fabulously wealthy? It is only to cozy up to the western media by pressing all the "right" buttons, right Leslie? I wish you had asked her all the tough questions, instead of portraying her as an intellectually sophisticated, glammed up wealthy Barbie doll.

This story is a joke. Why wasn't Zhang Xin challenged about paying her employees .60/ hour while she has over $3 billion in the bank? It is easy for Ms. Xin to state how she longs for Democracy while not paying her employees a living wage. If Ms. Xin truly believes in democracy than she could very easily demonstrate it by providing her employees with western like wages and benefits. If Zhang did this she would be a beacon of hope in a country where housing sits empty because the average person can not afford it.

In addition how does a regular Chinese woman end up in one of the best schools in the west? Too many gaps in this story to be credible.

NEW YORK'S BIG FILTHY
DIRTY SECRET! Seizing
Money from Decent Women

NYC's Judge Laura Drager, Makes Divorce a Business "Too Big to Fail".

New York's Big Dirty Filthy Secret is Judge Laura Drager. Laura Drager is the Corrupt CEO of New York City's Divorce Company. She has turned Divorce Corruption into a Cottage Industry.

Judge Laura Drager has turned divorce into a lucrative "bottom-line" business that has enriched her beyond her wildest dreams.

Her strategy is simple; she usually discredits the female litigant by treating and labeling them as an acrimonious spoiled "crackpot" woman, and under that guise begins the seizure of their assets. If children are involved she has no qualms about using them as a pawn.

This Judge deliberately overlooks Gun Violence to Children, Porn Sent to Children, Domestic Violence in lieu of enriching the New York City Power Broker. Go to Change.Org : Vote Judge Laura Drager Out!

The corruption team is layered and powerful.
Corrupt Drager Lawyers Include: Ira Garr, Kenn Burrows, Raoul Felder
Judges Who Enable Drager's Corruption include: administrative Judge Sherry Klein Heitler, Chief Administrative Judge Gail Prudenti
Press: Barbara Ross, Daily News Reporter and her husband..
JUDICIAL ETHICS CHIEF COUNSEL: Robert Tembeckjian (investigated for using state funds for trips to Hawaii and San Diego with Barbara Ross)

She has thrown women and kids out onto the street. She is New York City's "big money Judge". Your assets are her assets and she has become a very wealthy woman doing what she does.

Let's Fire Her This Judge at Change.Org . She eats innocent women and children for breakfast by seizing their assets and leaving them penniless. Go to Change.Org Remove Judge Drager. Hundreds have voted. Share with us your Judicial Corruption Story

She has a powerful Public Relations Effort behind her that this Corrupt Judge also uses to discredit the litigant and submerge negative stories and internet content about her.

Yes! fascinating story about Xin, her husband, and the most fabulous architecture. Amazing and inspiring. Mentioned but not so interesting or important? The impending crash of the Chinese economy, the conniving double-cross of the middle class, the huge cheap impoverished labor force. A spin-chilling similarity to the building of the pyramids - slave labor to build monuments and wealth for the elite. Perhaps like Xin, the poor will be sleeping on desks in those offices rather than living in homes. When the global economy finally crashes and there is no bail out or middle class to steal from - thank you smart, driven, clever rich corporate elite - we'll tune into 60 Minutes and see what clues there are to what will happen next!

What a remarkably intelligent, appealing and lovely woman. And what a great story for anyone, of either sex and of any background, to emulate.

Regarding the "ghost city" story, CBS should've visited one of the ghost city that was reported on couple years ago. Zhengzhou New District is now full of people.

I just want to clarify a position: There is nothing wrong with stripping.

I thought your profile on Zhang Xin was inspiring and fascinating to hear... until you totally GLOSSED OVER how she went from sitting on her luggage crying in London to, BOOM, got a bunch of degrees and was on her way up. That wasn't very good journalism. How did she get to go to school? Did she have a benefactor? Where did she live? Was she in debt? The story of how she went from rags to riches is where the meat of the story was. You skipped too much. The only thing I can think of is that the subject herself requested some censorship. (Did she strip or something?!)
Sincerely,
Very Disappointed "60 Minutes" fan.
