BPA linked to increased asthma risk

Bisphenol A is a chemical widely used in plastic containers and the linings of food and beverage containers. Reports suggest the chemical, which can leach from plastic into food, can lead to an increased risk of asthma in young people. Kathleen Donohue, assistant professor of medicine at Columbia University, explains.
