
Carney: Another sequester delay may be needed

White House press secretary Jay Carney said today that while the administration remains "hopeful" that a compromise to avert the sequester may surface before the March 1 deadline, lawmakers may decide it is "better" to postpone the cuts again, as they did at the end of 2012, to buy more time to find a solution.
