Its good honest pure helping, I love this story. Its action before words... doing, not preaching. Living by example and aiding those in desperate need. I'd work on a Mercy ship for free if they would have me.

Lovely to watch the program all about the Africa Mercy. As a returning volunteer from the UK who works in the OR, I was a little disappointed by the introduction where the volunteers were described as mostly Americans! Although it is an American based charity there are many international offices all over the world and the volunteers come from 42 different nations. This is what makes it such a beautiful experience to serve onboard.

Well said, Don. I would love to hear more about the reaction of Pelley and his film crew to the atmosphere of faith in God that permeates the ship community. I'll never forget the first time I set foot on the M/V Anastasis and experienced the tangible sense of God's presence on that vessel.
