I'm not sure he did it but I don't think he did it beyond a reasonable doubt. What bothers me is that kid who had confessed he did it.
And I can tell you, having been court martial myself, there is no such thing as military justice. There is not trial by your peers, you are judged by some officer.
By training, officers look down on enlisted like cattle. This was such a clear example of double jeopardy.

Whatever happened to her ex-husband? Karen Comer's son?? Where is he? Has anyone ever directed anything to him?

On the day my brother was murdered, he pointed out his attacker to the medics and yet the Van Nuys police department threw out physical evidence and to this day have not prosecuted his killer. I watch these shows and am amazed at how people can be convicted of these crimes with so little evidence and yet my brother still has no justice even though he himself singled out his killer to witnesses. I guess one dead Marine means nothing to this country.

Still confused who the grandmother was in relationship to all these people. Why did no one speak about her? Sad situation for those young children, my heart goes out.

Yes I believe justice was served, but I am sick to death of constantly reading about or seeing incompetant police and crime labs neglecting critical evidence, botching tests, and compromising evidence - all in a hurry to "get it over with as quickly as possible" doesn't matter who they lay the blame on for the crime.

He or his parents never mention something like the real killer still being out there those victims deserving justice. It's his very wife who was killed, and this guy doesn't seem to care about a thing and only talking about going back to his family. Who does he think was killed? Just some woman and another?

So many things wrong with this story. Here are just a few...

1. Tracy was living with "her ex-husband's mother-in-law". [Sarcasm] Aren't such hugely extended families sweet?

2. A mistrial because the eldest son was sick?#@! So postpone the dang trial. Sheez.

3. The two female JAGs are smiling before they begin to discuss a **murder** with CBS.

4. The Army's prosecution team: a captain, a major, and a lieutenant colonel. The Army defense team: one captain. [More sarcasm] Gee, that seems fair.

YES, I think that Brent Burke is guilty, but I have a friggin' headache from the non-stop idiocy around this story.
