CIA nominee Brennan: Waterboarding is "reprehensible"

CIA Director nominee John Brennan declined to call waterboarding "torture" at his confirmation hearing today before the Senate Intelligence Committee, noting the term "torture" has a precise legal definition and that he's not a lawyer, but he did call the technique "reprehensible" and indicated it would not be revived if he is confirmed to head the CIA.
