GOP: National defense is not "a bargaining chip"

A group of Republicans from the Senate and House Armed Services Committees blasted the President's proposal to avert the "sequester" today, with Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., accusing the president of using national defense as a "bargaining chip" in the fiscal debate and offering an "unacceptable" and "insufficient" proposal.
