White House Press Secretary Jay Carney today said the death of 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton, who was shot to death in Chicago on Tuesday one week after performing at President Obama's inauguration in Washington, is "just another example of the problem we need to deal with." He also called out NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre for being in a "very distinct minority" on universal background checks.
