Obama renominates Cordray to head Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

President Obama today renominated Richard Cordray to serve a full term as director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Having chosen him as a recess appointment amid Republican opposition to Cordray, the president called on the Senate to "finally" give him "the vote he deserves."
