Well, I say - Lift FDA requirements and start buying medications used with good history and results in other countries.
I am for lifting foreign medication bans that presently exist for those with proven history. I am fully aware of the fraud that exists in certain cancer fighting drugs that were recently exposed about and international fraud ring.
The days that the FDA can impose such high hurdles have to be put behind us, in favor of affordable medications for all.
Right now, giving carte blanche to countries that have hideous human rights, environmental regulations, toxic output, cheaply made output, just to make a quicker buck... that's helping NOBODY in the end.
Some say those countries need to stop being state-owned (e.g. communism) as that is unsustainable and only becoming a "competitive economy" will save those developing entities. The trouble is, those entities made it big by being communist in the first place, so if it works why change it? And if government is dictated by lobbyists, then it doesn't matter what government type exists because it's effectively "none".
