Durbin: Hagel not taking Senate confirmation for granted

After meeting with former Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb. - President Obama's pick to replace Defense Secretary Leon Panetta - Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin, D-Ill., said that while Hagel has proven himself "an excellent" choice for the post, he is "not taking anything for granted" regarding his upcoming Senate confirmation hearing.
