Reid promises action on filibuster this week

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., told reporters today he's had "some positive meetings" with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., about reforming the filibuster, but said if no bipartisan plan to do so emerges in the next few days, Democrats will move forward on their own.
