Panetta: "We know that lives have been lost" in Algeria

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta addressed the hostage crisis in Algeria at a press conference in Great Britain today, saying that information "remains sketchy" but "we know that lives have been lost," and adding that we cannot accept a safe haven for terrorists anywhere in the world - "A lesson our nations learnt in the tragic aftermath of 9/11 and the 7/7 attacks here in Britain."
