Cutting off funding for gun violence studies

CDC funding into gun violence research has plummeted 96 percent since 1996 -- just $100,000 of last year's $5.6 billion CDC budget. And, as Mark Strassmann reports, as part of the new gun debate, Congress has to decide whether to approve President Obama request to for $10 million to study gun violence.
