"We don't benefit from ignorance" on gun violence, Obama says

President Obama today thanked Vice President Joe Biden for heading a task force in an effort to prevent gun violence like last month's massacre at a Newtown, Conn., elementary school, and said "we have an obligation to try" to stop tragedies like it from happening again.
