At a joint press conference on Friday with Afghan President Hamid Karzai, President Obama defended his decision to withdraw U.S. forces, arguing that our main goal in entering Afghanistan to begin with - to disrupt and dismantle the terrorist network that attacked us on 9/11 - has been largely met, but admitted that we have "probably not" reached some of the more far-fetched goals in Afghanistan.
