Biden: Newtown awakened "the conscience of the entire nation"

Opening a meeting with victims and survivors of gun violence, as well as gun safety advocacy groups, Vice President Joe Biden today said as his task force forges ahead with plans to try to avert more tragedies like the shooting last month at a Newtown, Conn., elementary school, "we are not gonna get caught up in the notion that unless we can do everything, we're gonna do nothing."
