Could Barcelona's famed soccer academy, La Masia, be a model for America to nurture future superstars, as Spain did with Lionel Messi?

Yes, absolutely! I would love to see teams in the US play with this kind of finess. It's incredible what Barca does with the ball and it's been like this for a long time. I've been watching these guys play since the original Ronaldo played for them back in the 90s and their style hasn't changed. They've created a footballing identity for themselves and has become a trademark style of football. When you hear tiki-taka you automatically think Barcelona. I hope someday we can get teams like the LA Galaxy playing this way. It would help improve the image of soccer in the US and show people how attractive the sport really is. Heck, this style of play may one day make our national team one of the powerhouses of the world!
