I am 36 and I have read the paper every morning since I was 8 maybe younger.It is MY part of my morning. Coffee, Paper, Read the front page browse through the others and take the sports to the office. It it is peaceful.
I am a tweener. Good with computers but not as tech savvy as guys 10 years younger. I have been adapting to the new format. But I still don't like it.

What this article does not tell you about is how the decision to go to 3 days a week affect the Home Delivery Dealers. It has reduced their income by almost 60%. Many Dealers working the unconventional hours are recovering from layoffs in their daytime jobs, handicapped, or retired and depend on this supplemental income to bridge the gap.

Not only is this paper a intrinsic social media for the city of New Orleans it is a supportive economic engine for its residents as well.

I have not bought a newspaper in ages..I can't see the tiny print. i read the news on the computer..

The TP is a waste of paper and ink. Nobody reads it, that's why they are no longer a daily. Totally irrelevant if you have any interest in the world outside "the City".

Since increasing the city budget 7 times what the previous mayor had and all the tax increases put on the citizens since the new mayor hired all his new folks at $150K a year salaries, and lack of jobs unless U R working at a hotel or restaurant. SAVING A FEW DOLLARS ON A NEWSPAPER IS GREAT NEWS. Nobody can afford anything but him and his friends anyway.
